Evaluation of Non-fatal Forensic Vascular Injuries

In the forensic report, whether injury includes "vascular injury" or not, life-threatening situation is important for investigation. this study, it was aimed to evaluate vascular status and share data with literature in cases related traumatology, which were reflected Forensic Medicine Department of Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty Medicine. 5-year period between 2015 2019, injury, who applied Medicine, retrospectively analyzed. Report contents demographic evaluated. It determined that 52 (1.2%) 4378 evaluated within scope study had injury. 90.3% patients male, they most frequently 19-29 age group, 69.3% stab wounds, commonly injured vessel a.femoralis its branches (n=11, %21.2). The obtained found be compatible literature. thought in-service trainings on subject important, especially emergency room doctors more attentive issuing reports, take necessary measures prevent them from being held responsible other cases, protect legal rights victims.
